A Través del Iris
A narrative VR experience that explores identity and memory through color, interaction, and environmental storytelling.
Inspiration
Through color and memory
In A Través del Iris, color is the narrative language. Each visual shift reflects emotional states and hidden memories, turning the VR environment into a psychological space shaped by mood, symbolism, and slow discovery rather than direct exposition.

Technologies
Behind the scenes
Built in Unity with modular interaction systems and narrative triggers, the project combines dynamic lighting transitions, environmental storytelling, and interactive logic to support emotional pacing in VR. It includes progressive saving, accessibility features (multiple languages, color blindness mode, subtitles) and voice prototyping using ElevenLabs.

Final product
Introspective narrative flow
The final experience is built around slow discovery, subtle interaction, and emotional pacing. At its core, Blink to Think turns blinking into a meaningful mechanic, triggering reflection and narrative transitions that make stillness part of the journey.

Nexos Exhibition
Project showcase
Presented at the NEXOS Exhibition at USFQ, A Través del Iris was showcased as part of the final graduating projects from the Interactive Media Design program. The experience is currently available on Meta Quest, with distribution through SideQuest and Meta Horizon Store.
