A Través del Iris on National Television
Ecuadorian national media covered A Través del Iris after its festival run. Four appearances so far, with more hopefully on the way.

How USFQ opened this door
I'm genuinely grateful to USFQ and to my program for opening this door. None of this would have happened without the platform my major gave me to show A Través del Iris to people outside a classroom in the first place.
It all started after the game's exhibition, and after applying to a few international festivals with it. That's what put A Través del Iris in front of people who could pass it on to a newsroom, and that's when the first calls started coming in.
Sitting on the other side of the camera
Sitting across from a reporter about your own work is a strange kind of nervous. I'm used to asking questions about a design or a piece of code, not answering them about myself. But underneath the nerves there's a lot of hope: this is the world I actually want to work in, games, and every one of these conversations feels like a small step toward leaving my own mark in it.
Four appearances, and counting
So far, four different outlets have covered the project, all national Ecuadorian media. I'm hoping more are still on the way.
